Every week, trained Class Matters teens teach STEM to elementary students. The little ones get role models who look like them and aren’t far ahead — and the teens get something just as valuable: the experience of leading, planning, and being looked up to.

Early STEM Village is built on a simple idea: the best person to spark a younger kid’s curiosity is an older kid who was just there. Teens deliver weekly, hands-on STEM lessons to elementary students under staff supervision.
Elementary students get an early, joyful start in STEM. The teen instructors build real teaching, planning, and public-speaking skills — and discover they’re leaders.
Weekly hands-on lessons that make science and building feel like play — with a role model up front.
Trained teen instructors plan and deliver lessons, gaining real teaching and leadership reps.
Staff oversee every session and coach the teen instructors as they grow.
