Four times a year, students step out of the classroom and into the community — assembling holiday packages, building shoebox gifts, and supporting elderly and unhoused neighbors. Leadership isn’t a lecture here. It’s something you practice by giving.

Service Matters turns the program’s character and leadership lessons into action. Each quarter, students plan and carry out a service project for neighbors who need it — the elderly, the unhoused, and families facing a hard season.
Students don’t just show up to volunteer — they help organize, lead, and reflect. It’s where they learn that leadership is service, and that they have something to give right now.
Students help organize each quarterly project — logistics, supplies, and roles included.
